Terms of Service

Effective June 22, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and POV AMP (“we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of povamp.com and the POV AMP application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.

The Service

POV AMP helps professionals and teams build their brand: it stores your points of view, scans public conversations on platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and news sources for discussions worth joining, and pre-writes reply drafts in your voice grounded in those points of view. You decide which drafts to edit, approve, and publish.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Access is by invitation; you may not share access credentials or let others use your account.

Notify us promptly at contact@povamp.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Connected social accounts

When you connect a social account (for example, LinkedIn), you authorize POV AMP to take only the specific actions you grant — such as identifying your profile and publishing a post you have explicitly approved. Your use of each platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms, and you agree not to use POV AMP in a way that violates them. You can disconnect a platform at any time from Settings → Connections, and you may revoke our access from the platform’s own settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
  • post or distribute content that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, hateful, or otherwise harmful;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • send spam, manipulate engagement, or violate the terms or community standards of any connected platform;
  • attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access, or probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without permission;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing service from the Service; or
  • interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure.

You are responsible for everything you publish using the Service, and you are the author and publisher of your content.

Your content

You retain all rights to the points of view, drafts, edits, and other content you create or provide (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — for example, to generate drafts in your voice and refine your writing-style guide. We do not sell Your Content. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

AI-generated drafts

POV AMP uses third-party AI models to generate draft responses and analyze writing style. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable — it is a starting point, not finished work. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing AI output and for ensuring what you post is accurate and appropriate. You are the author of every post you publish.

Public social content

To surface conversations worth joining, the Service processes publicly available posts and engagement data from third-party platforms. That content belongs to its respective authors and platforms; we present it to help you decide where to engage and do not claim ownership of it.

Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding, but excluding Your Content and third-party content — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service while these Terms are in effect. We welcome your feedback and may use it to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

Third-party services

The Service relies on and links to third-party services (such as the social platforms you connect and our infrastructure providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any draft, recommendation, or AI output will meet your needs or produce any particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, POV AMP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold POV AMP harmless from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right — including the terms of any connected platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify active users by email or in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution will be the state and federal courts located in Texas.
